Are you a Vermonter who’s passionate about French language and Francophone cultures? Do you want to meet like-minded individuals and become part of a community that enjoys expanding its cultural horizons? Do you wish to learn more about Quebec, our Francophone neighbor to the north?

The AFLCR is the place for you–it’s Vermont’s home for people of every age and background who seek to experience the French language and the diverse cultures where it’s spoken.

If you join the AFLCR, you will become part of our community and enjoy benefits throughout the year, including:

  • Free use of the Culturethèque: This groundbreaking online French multimedia center provides access to hundreds of digitized e-books, magazines, comic books, films, concerts, and more. UPDATE APRIL 19, 2024: Culturethèque has recently renovated its website, and some of our members are having difficulty signing in on the new site. We are working with Culturethèque to solve this problem. Meanwhile if you are experiencing difficulty, please write to them at culturetheque@institutfrancais.com and also let us know at info@aflcr.org. We look forward to a speedy resolution
