Students in evening classes at AFLCR at 43 King Street have several options for parking:
On-Street Metered Parking
Multiple metered parking spots are available near 43 King Street. Just remember to pay until 6 p.m., when these sites become free until the next morning.
Using the ParkMobile app makes the process easy, and you won’t need to rummage for change each week.
Parking Lot at South Champlain and Maple
The parking lot on the corner of South Champlain and Maple Streets is available to students in the evenings only (i.e., after 5 p.m.). Ask your instructor for a parking pass, which is valid for the length of the course session and must be displayed on your dashboard.
Perkins Pier Marina
Less than a 5-minute walk to 43 King Street, the Perkins Pier lot costs $2.50 per hour until sunset.
Holders of a Burlington Park Season Pass and the Green Mountain Passport can park for free. Green Mountain Passports are available to Vermont residents at least 62 years of age and Vermont veterans of uniformed services. You can apply for one at your town office for a one-time fee of $2.00.
Parking for Classes at 60 Lake Street
Students in our evening classes at 60 Lake Street (the VTIFF entrance) also have several options for parking:
There are numerous parking meters along Lake Street and College Street. The blue-top meters are enforced until 6 p.m. and the rate is $1.00 per hour.
After 6 p.m, free parking is available at the Merrill Lynch Lot, on Lake Street, just to the north of the VTIFF office.
Parking at the Pease Lot, which is across the street from 60 Lake Street (the entrance is on College Street), is enforced until 8 p.m. The fee is $3.00 per hour from May 15 to October 15 and $2.00 per hour during the off-season.
