La Louisiane : Plus qu’une colonie « française »

November 13 @ 7:00 pm 8:00 pm

Louisiana is presented in history books, tourism promotion ads, films, and popular speech as a former “French” colony. But what does that actually mean and who was actually there?

Joseph Dunn will explain it at our next Pause-Midi, which will take place not at noon but in the evening, so it will be a Pause-Apéro.

Joseph Dunn

Joseph Dunn has worked in Louisiana’s tourism and cultural industries for nearly 30 years. He is a recognized thought leader in matters related to the representation and interpretation of Louisiana’s diverse French and Creole-speaking populations.

The presentation will be in English with some French. Via Zoom.
