Join AFLCR and Home Instead Senior Care in bringing holiday cheer to lonely and financially challenged seniors in Burlington, VT.

This year Home Instead Senior Care is partnering with Kinney Drugs, Arbors, Health Direct Pharmacy, One Credit Union, Orchard Vet Hospital, People’s United Bank, PT 360, Alliance Francaise of the Lake Champlain Region, and more, to fulfill the senior’s requests.
Art therapy is a proven powerful tool for treating Alzheimer’s and an exercise to keep seniors busy and stimulate their mind. Puzzles large pieces, crosswords large print, word finds large print, adult coloring books, crayons, markers, colored pencils, and paper are essential. Additional gift requests are fuzzy lap blankets, non-skid fuzzy socks, playing cards, scarfs, stuffed animals, slippers (men’s and women’s), and lotion softly scented or unscented.
Unfortunately, this year we are unable to coordinate the well-attended wrapping party due to the pandemic.
