The AFLCR brought a special presentation in English by Cara Black, New York Times best-selling author of twenty books in the Aimee Leduc private investigator series, each of which are set in a different arrondissement of Paris. Black is also the author of the thriller Three Hours in Paris and is nominated for several Anthony and Macavity Awards. Her books have been translated into German, Norwegian, Japanese, French, Spanish, Italian and Hebrew.
Black is a great friend of the AFUSA Federation and a popular speaker with AFs all around the country.
For our Pause Dejeuner lunchtime series, Black spoke about her most recent Aimee Leduc novel, Murder at the Porte de Versailles, where Aimee gets entangled in a dangerous web of international spycraft and terrorist threats in Paris’s 15th arrondissement. Bienvenue, Cara Black!
