AFLCR Open House

Are you thinking you might like to learn French? Are you a current student trying to decide which class to take next? Are you looking for ways to take your existing French fluency to a new level?  

Then come to our open house for students and prospective students on August 17, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. We’ll be welcoming our community at the AFLCR school building, 43 King Street, Burlington. 

Meet the teachers, learn about the lineup of fall classes, and enjoy refreshments with your AFLCR friends! 

You’re invited! and if you know someone who might be interested in our classes, please bring them along!

Parking

There are numerous parking meters on the streets surrounding the school. The blue top meters charge $1.00 per hour and are free after 6:00 p.m. Yellow top meters are 25 cents per 15 minutes and have a 30-minute time limit.  Smart meters in the downtown core, which accept credit and debit cards, charge $1.50 per hour and are enforced until 9:00 p.m.

Anyone who has a Green Mountain Passport (available for Vermont residents 62 years of age or over, and military veterans) can park for free at the Perkins Pier lot at the base of Maple Street (about 3 blocks from the school). Be sure to display the Green Mountain Passport on your dashboard.
